BLAME IT ON

THE BURGERS

TWO TONNES OF FUN IN A BUN.

Back in 2007 burgers were barely on anyone's radar in London, except ours. Of course now you can't go a block without seeing some sort of dirty burger joint but back then London was pretty much a burgerless void. We had successfully thrown a couple huge burger bashes in our studio that included giveaway CD compilations and themed T-shirts and we decided to take the concept to the public with our Blame It On The Burgers parties at BGWMC. An all out celebration of burger and fries culture, each show featured a Coney Island style hot dog eating contest, a takeaway menu of orderable songs for the DJ's, fast food themed merchandise, a BurgerTime video game competition and food themed live entertainment devised specially for the night. We collaborated with Burger King who supplied us with a supply of Whopper scented cologne as a promotional giveaway and our range of Blame It On The Burgers merchandise went on to be sold in Colette Paris as part of Todd Selby's pop up shop. Always ahead of the game, did these nights kick start London's now unquenchable hunger for burgers? We think so.

DO FRIES GO WITH THAT SHAKE?
